Bishop & Associates has completed its biennial European customer survey, which evaluated 46 connector manufacturers.
A total of 337 of your peers answered 18 questions relating to important issues such as quality, pricing, delivery, lead times, technical support, and more.

The Top 10 Best Performers in Product Quality
Survey participants were asked: What is your overall satisfaction with the quality of products?
Survey participants answered the question based on the following:
6 = Extremely satisfied
5 = Very satisfied
4 = Satisfied
3 = Dissatisfied
2 = Very dissatisfied
1 = Extremely dissatisfied

ept, Rosenberger, and Samtec respectively placed first, second, and third for product quality in the 2017 European Customer Survey. ept, Rosenberger, Fischer Connectors, LEMO SA, and Binder all moved into the Top 10 in the 2017 survey.

for the Past Five Surveys
ept placed first in three of the last five surveys, having moved up from 10th in 2010. Fischer Connectors experienced the largest increase in rank from 2015 to 2017, jumping from 23rd in 2015 to 6th place in 2017. In the past five European surveys, five companies — ept, Rosenberger, Samtec, LEMO, and Phoenix Contact — maintained their top 10 standing in the best performance for product quality category.

Survey participants were asked: What is your level of satisfaction with price competitiveness?
Survey participants answered the question based on the following:

Past Five Surveys
ept, Binder, and WAGO respectively placed first, second, and third in the 2017 European survey for price competitiveness. WAGO is the only company to have placed in the Top 10 in all five surveys. ept has been in the Top 10 for four out of five surveys, and CONEC Corporation has been in the Top 10 in three of the five. Binder had the highest increase in rank in 2017, moving from 20th position to 2nd position.
